I find it disturbing that kids today are contemplating whether to intern (insert powerhouse institutions here). How about you intern anywhere and get some experience under your rookie belt. You should be thankful IB's/ PE or BD's are calling you or looking at your resume. Get in and then figure your way around. Stop complaining about the job market stop acting like you have tons of options because lets face it... You don't. Your not the only person applying for the internship or even entry level position. So get off your asses accept whatever internship is offered even if its to fetch a cup of coffee, get to work and be happy about it. If not WALL ST even if supposed firm operates out of San Diego or anything will smell your lack of a work ethic and kick your ass to the curb. Start humble arrogance comes with age and is f'ing earned thats just my 2 cents.

yes its ridiculous - bright students wasting time discussing all the different options they have any taking for granted the opportunity at hand. but at the end of the day, that's what this website is about. if you don't like it, i'm sure stumbleupon.com will give you better options.
