Advice for Graduation / Job search

Hello all,

I am an immigrant who moved to NYC 5 years ago. I started at a Community college and transferred to a target University. Because of my transfer timeline and financial stress, I was late when I applied for Junior summer internships. Some people told me to graduate, so I decided to do summer classes this summer. And now, I am going to be graduating in May 2024. I have a good GPA, am motivated and dedicated, and am also from a target school. However, I don't want to give up on my dream of getting into banking. I am considering taking a leave of absence this spring and starting to look for spring off-cycle internships or applying for summer 2024 internships and delaying my graduation to Dec 2024. What do you guys recommend? I would really appreciate your advice.
