Big 4 Internship helpful? (for freshman)

I somehow secure a Big 4 accounting internship offer for my freshman summer. How much does it gonna help for my IBD internship searching next year?

I'm a non-target (a decent LAC though) econ-math major with a 3.7 GPA. Also a member of the finance club. I'm currently taking Financial Accounting this semester and corporate finance in the following fall. What else do I need to do to? What positions should I be aiming for in my sophomore year?

Make sur ethat your internship is actually client service, meaning audit or whatever group yourin. I've heard of many underclassman getting internships within their HR or some othe rintenral program fo rth efirst summer iwth the guarantee of another inship the following summer for a client service internship.

If its client-service, then its very helpful. You can easily spin it to work in your favor during your IBD interviews. the client exposure/responsibility you get is actually impressive considering you're an intern. Just a matter of how well you can sell it. and you'll make decent/good pay
