CFA® Class
Hoping to take the CFA® I in December, what are some of the better classes offered? Ideally, once a week (at night) that meets in NYC?

Why spend $ on a class for level 1? It's the easiest level and you can just re-take it 6 months later if you fail, unlike 2 & 3.
Having passed the Level 1 last Dec., I don't think a class is necessary. The books shouldn't be THAT bad to get through, especially if you start now and are consistent, and the test was actually easier than I thought it would be overall. Granted, I was a financial econ major. Still, your username says you're in ER 2nd year, so you should have a solid background as well.
I'll echo zanderman's comment in that if you have any finance background that taking a class for Level I of the CFA is overkill. Take your preparation seriously and you'll likely find it fairly tame and be well on your way to sit for Level II next June
