Diverse and Ivy League

I've seen a lot of talk on here about how easy it is to get into a BB/EB as a diversity hire/through diversity pipelines. Is that true? How easy would it be for someone who goes to an Ivy League, majors in finance/is part of the business school, has a 3.8 GPA, and is diverse? How important is networking to an individual who fits this profile? In which situations would their background help them (exclusively diversity pipelines or conventional hiring pipelines)?

Thanks.

because getting into an ivy league as a diverse candidate was also not as difficult lol

I come from a very non-target lol. I literally just got the letter approved yesterday. I had no idea there was on-campus recruiting. I was just wondering how much of the networking I still have to do.

Hmm okay. You should still network. Try to get involved with the finance club and keep an eye out for diversity programs. They will open applications before anything else. It’s still competitive but you’re competing against a smaller group. Banks reserve parts of classes for people who do the diversity insight internships their sophomore summer.
