Help! Got Stuck in Retail Banking

I'm currently a management trainee at a well-known bank based in Asia, under consumer banking division.

It's a one year program with rotation coverage including products(e.g. cards, deposit, wealth management), segment, risk, and digital. Afterwards, management trainee would probably be a Product/Project Manager within either one of the team listed above.

Issue here is that I don't really like my job and don't know what could be the potential exit options for retail banking PM roles, listed below are some of the potential options I assume but not yet verified.

Private Banking (client advisory roles)Fintechs (e.g. Mastercards, VISA…etc)Management Consulting after pursuing MBA degree.

Please let me know any other thoughts or comments on the exit options for retail banking, aiming for options with higher compensation or just better career path potentials, thanks. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
