dawg i didn’t even know what IB was in freshman year of college and managed to break into IB at a BB from a non-target. Make sure to have fun and not revolve your life around IB, SATs matter but GPA means more. During interviews for IB, personality means more, no one wants to hire a fucking loser who can’t enjoy themselves.

It won’t matter, just keep your college GPA up, get involved with finance clubs on campus, and try to land an internship or two before recruiting starts during your sophomore year. Also, work on social skills (maybe join a fraternity if you think you would enjoy it). From what I’ve seen, social skills and being likable are what it typically comes down to on superdays assuming you and other candidates can check the technicals box when interviewing.

Took the SAT once, no prep, got a 1300 bc I’m not retarded and never took it again.

I have not been asked for my SAT ever.

Personality > test scores

This is a relationship business, if you can’t have a casual conversation with the MD/VP that’s interviewing you, and you come off as a fucking loser nerd, then you won’t break in lol

Coming from a non-target, your SAT matters a lot more than you think it would for IB. I have been asked for it in multiple interviews.
