In quite the pickle

Hello guys,

So I feel like I'm in quite the bind, I am graduating in June and was originally intending going to grad school for an MS in Finance. Unfortunately, that plan recently fell through a lot of problems and I have realized that grad school is no longer an option, nor can I handle another year of school at this point. That being said I missed the major recruitment season and feel so far behind I do not know what quite to do. I have begun looking for a job for after graduation but obviously my options are a lot slimmer now. I have a mediocre GPA (2.8) in Econ with a double major in comm, but I have internship experience working at a real small M.C. firm in Beverly Hills the past two summers. Am I too late at finding a decent banking or consulting job in NYC? If so what should I do? Go for an internship and hope it turns into a job, or graduate, and get a certificate (or an internship) in the fall and go through formal recruiting then? Or would I be frowned upon by companies for doing that?

Or am I stuck flipping burgers for the rest of my life?
