Strategy for next Superday

Just got denied after a superday with a MM bank in the south. Had the Chief administrative officer, MD, and VP go out of their way to explain to me that from a “fit” side I’d be perfect for the firm. One mentioned not going through technicals because he saw it unnecessary as he assumed I was intelligent enough. Majority of my interviews consisted of chatting about my interests on my resume and them asking me if I had questions about the firm. My question is, should I change my strategy next super day to try and push for technical questions? Sounds stupid, but if I need to prove myself as a qualified candidate, then I feel as if I should steer away from talking about my respective colleges sports teams like I was asked about for the majority of the 4 out of 6 interviews.

This seems like a very strange super day - n=1, don’t assume you’re such hot shit that every place if going to accept you like they did (albeit deceitfully). I’d prepare the same way you would for, you know, more normal interviews where questions definitely won’t be on your college sport teams.

I appreciate the reply and by no means did I think I was by far too candidate for the job. I went in confident and portrayed that through answering questions. I’m just saying it’s kind of tough to show how I am qualified in the field when for 10 minutes we’d talk about the interest section on my resume and then briefly talk about my previous internship. Then for the rest of the 30 minute interview they would just ask if I had questions almost like I was running the interview.
