What kind of finance jobs doesn't require me to talk to other people?

I would like a finance job that only requires me to work on a computer. I don't not wish to speak to customers/clients on the phone or go to meetings. So, what are some good paying finance jobs that only requires me to work on the computer?

Not sure I agree with this. A lot of the roles you mentioned are (1) meetings and/or (2) very much like consulting jobs. I mean, whats the difference between a consultant and someone in internal audit? Just a change of who you're talking to, but still a lot of meetings and human interaction. The OP is an awkward shut-in :masssive eyeroll: so I don't like a lot of the jobs you posted for them.

"TheBestMan" I don't not wish to speak to customers/clients on the phone or go to meetings.

Oh, so you want customer interaction?

Just kidding, jobs that don't require much client interaction would usually be Back Office jobs like the ones described above. At the same time, keep in mind that you would still have to be pretty friendly with your co-workers and attend internal meetings with them where you would discuss your work as well as others' work.

I don't think you can ever completely escape human interaction or meetings even if you are a computer programmer (which requires you to work on a computer), as you would still have to go to meetings with your co-workers.

I was at an event last night and one of the guys was talking about how much relationships matter to win business or grow a career. Even if you are the smartest guy around some selling (of yourself) is needed to get any job or promotion.

Not sure what you don't like about dealing with customers/clients but if I were you I would take the opposite approach. Get in front of as many people as you can and work to overcome any fear/shortcomings. It sucks at first but will make you better for it in the long run.

How did you manage to be on this site, get 363 bananas and are only now understanding the finance isn't going to suit you? Is your post some kind of a level or are you being serious? I think people want to genuinely help you but your post also has troll qualities . . .
