whatever you said. but hot yoga chicks aren't necessairly banker-compatible.

Lots of types of people are into yoga; it's good shit. I'd do it in addition to my current routine if I had the time.

Agree with this. You can joke about it being "Gay" but it can be a great workout and a room full of women in yoga pants is great for blood flow.

It's not supposed to get you buff. It increases flexibility and balance. And all of that mental shit too.

Yeah. I don't know why people love to hate on yoga. I think it's because hippies love it and people hate hippies and, by association, yoga. I have as much contempt for your typical hippie as the next guy, but it's irrational to rule out something as worthless just because some worthless people partake in it.

I was using a metaphor.

It's hated on in the US because it has been feminized and hippiized. However, anyone who has done a fairly rigorous routine realizes it is just as good of a workout as getting shredded with your bros. It's actually a much better form of stress relief than lifting weights (which is why I do it) and while it won't make you buff, it will tone you up quite a bit, especially your core.

And to Tony Snark's Q about naked yoga, I'm not in NYC at the moment and haven't had a chance to try it. Seems like your member hanging and swinging around would be quite distracting (luckily mine wouldn't hang far or swing much). I may have to try it though.

Edit: @"LHDan" have you been to those co-ed birthday suit yoga places in NYC? I have heard that they are almost all female.

Spin class. There are always a ton of hot girls and around 3-4 guys (although your opinion on hot housewives might affect this ratio). At least if you strike out you get some decent cardio.

It's by definition the very opposite of gay if @"Anihilist" is doing it to meet women.

Take some education classes as an elective to meet hot girls. Play co-ed softball for extracurricular mingling.

Softball? HA! HA!

IMO, you'll meet more hot women doing volleyball, tennis, or almost any sport that they have in the winder Olympics.

You laugh. Come on down to Atlanta and join our Friday Night Softball League. It will make your head spin.

Shop at Whole Foods? I always see cute chicks walking around at a leisurely pace in there. Or take your dog to the park. This requires owning a dog. Or borrow a friend's.

I'm looking forward to when I graduate, start making actual money, and can afford to shop exclusively at Whole Foods and boutiques. I wanna cultivate a relationship with a good neighborhood butcher. And I'll walk in on a Sunday afternoon like, "Hey Tony, what's good today?" And he'll pull out some sexy fresh juicy red shit like, "Eyy, I just got this beauty in this morning; come take a look."

And then I'll have a fish guy (preferably Japanese or from Boston). And I'll go in there and get some fresh fish and talk about current events for a bit. And then I'll go to Whole Foods or whatever and get some fresh vegetables. And I'll spend my Sunday morning cooking and then I'll go to the gym.

Not sure where you go to school but when I was in college this is exactly what I did. I lived right near a farmer's market and made friends with the local butchers and both Japanese-run fish stands. Cooked up some surf and turf with prime beef and fresh crab whenever I had a little extra money to spend from work. Not sure what's stopping you from doing this now.

It's more expensive than shopping at the supermarket.
