DC Advisory: Minimum Equity Raise Fees
Hey guys, I'm considering taking up a job at DC Advisory as a director and wanted to see if anyone knows of their minimum hard fee on equity raises. I heard it was $1.5MM producer minimum regarless of the raise.. so we'd be forced to only take egagements for $15MM and up... They say they don't have one and it's success based for the most part... trying to gauge how aggressive my pipeline would need to be to hit their minimums. Thanks, -G.
Why wouldn't you post this in the IB forum? If you're considering taking a job there and this is an important factor, wouldn't it make more sense to ask them vs an internet forum?
No idea what their minimum is but I've seen them doing tons of in that size range so wouldn't be too surprised if it's around that (maybe I'm off base but charging 7.5-10% of raises that small seems aggressive).
