How is WSO even deciding whether to censor topics? Proof that it's completely arbitrary

image-20230629165105-1Got the above notification for the topic discussing SCOTUS's ruling on AA. Why in the world was this censored? @WallStreetOasis.com

You guys even admit that it wasn't against your official terms & conditions and the discussion was completely civil. You are now deleting posts because they 'could lead to violations' even if they haven't? Any post can lead to violations, what in the world is this 1984 level censorship?

They killed both of the affirmative action threads. And it's funny how there isn't a mod actually signing off on the removal, just a generic "WSO mod team".

WSO probs wants to scale the business so that even normies will use the site. This is evident when they gave a shit to what frickin Buzzfeed thought of us - when finance bros dgaf abt Buzzfeed. They will start killing more and more threads that aren't lukewarm or consensus. A shame honestly.

Fall of an empire. Comes and goes

Edit: Noticed that WSO said that the post was removed because IT WILL LEAD to a high number of violations. Basically, WSO is now removing POTENTIALLY sensitive posts in advance that MIGHT lead to violations or people saying hate speech. So dumb
