How to control temper?

Currently in IB. Work is stressful as hell. Some clients drive me nuts and I have a tendency to raise my voice (not yell at them) but just speak loudly. Was told a few times by senior team members that I need to watch my tone but I can't seem to get this right.

Any one here can give me some pointers?

Thanks!

You’re an intern yelling at clients?

Find a different job

Looking at your other post, the things that seem to push you over the edge are minor nuisances at best (having to change font color multiple times, formatting nits, etc.,). I can imagine how you’d react to a stressful transaction for a sponsor that’s not going as planned.

Client services focused jobs take a certain amount of maturity and patience. I totally get where you’re coming from but at some point if you have to completely change your personality just to get by, you’re really better off just finding something that aligns closer to you.
