Hudson Yards vs. Lincoln Square?

Moving to NY for FT job this summer. Office is in midtown. I've been starting to look around for apartments and am really liking both Hudson Yards and Lincoln Square (close to office, have nice apartment buildings, not as "busy" as Hell's Kitchen, etc). Not from the city so have no idea what I'm talking about but would like to see what people who currently live in NY think of these two places. Open to other suggestions as well.

For more context I really want a newer, modern-feel luxury building. Seems like for what my roommate and I are willing to spend (6k for a 2 bed/2 bath) the places are equally nice/same size in both Hudson Yards and Lincoln Square.

Lincoln Center would be better connected in terms of subway (close to Columbus Circle). Hudson Yards is pretty far from public transport and the only subway stop there is on the 7 train, which doesn't go up/down Manhattan. Lincoln Center is also walking distance to Upper West Side if you want to get more of a real neighborhood/restaurants/groceries.
