Don't slip in shit on your way out bud

Way easier than dealing with a potential lawsuit

Happy for him if this is true but I also feel like there would be something out about that

Would not surprise me at all. Some distance from the "incident" plus the broad cultural + corporate culture vibe shift and i could easily see him landing somewhere.

At Moelis deal announcements are (or were) blasted firm wide, and there was a period of time where the "daily Jonathan Kaye deal announcement" was kind of a running joke. He was easily in the upper tier of production among MDs there. Not a power hitter, more like singles and doubles constantly. But he was really good, and people mostly enjoyed working for him. Very eccentric, quirky guy, and not an asshole.

Controversial

With Trump back in office he’ll find his way back at a top shop in no time. Kaye was a veteran at Citi prior to his time at Moelis, so BB wouldn’t be surprising. A more realistic hypothesis is for him to land at Blackstone/PJT due to Schwarzman and Taubman heavily backing trump. Big alpha energy is back on Wall Street, and when it comes down to billions of dollars on the line you need guys who get gritty on the front lines when the DEI fuckers at JPMorgan try to steal your deals.

Just accept you can’t woo clients like a DEI hire

Edit : white guys that sucked their daddy’s bank balance throwing MS at me boohoo

Obviously main point was Blackstone because of schwarzman supporting Donny, but I threw PJT in there on purpose to see if I could get any banter from a pompous ass such as your self.

It's absurd what happened. A group of degenerates were throwing things at him and provoked a fight that they lost. Then of course they post a highly edited video on the internet to make it seem that, out of nowhere, he decided to just randomly punch people on the street

These people lie about everything. They're professional victims. The past 15 years of social media rage bait should have taught you that

What was disappointing to me were the number of people on this forum who fell for the initial video hook line and sinker. Some of you need to do better.

And for the losers provoking street fights thinking they might get some e-clout, just remember, eventually you'll get some guy who isn't white collar high income who does NOT care about getting canceled or even a jail sentence. There are some parts of NYC I wouldn't recommend provoking random people on the street.

There are far too many videos of BLM and Free Palestine protestors molesting random passersby for no discernable reason aside from intentionally provoking a reaction they can use to portray themselves as victims for anyone to seriously believe this.
