Maximalist or minimalist LinkedIn?

Most LinkedIn's are broadly either maximalist or minimalist, with the maximalist being a paragraph or a few bullet points under each work experience and detail under each education, and minimalist being literally just the name, date, and potentially a few words underneath e.g., "FIG M&A" etc. I'm leaning towards minimalist being better as people tend to abstract what you did and imagine you as at least an average performer, whereas when you actually explain what you did it might be less than what someone imagines. I also notice a tend of most people in coveted jobs being minimalist. However, potentially it's useful to elaborate when you aren't at a well known firm

What do you think is better?

the minimalist approach is much cleaner imo, so is taking out things from a long time ago that aren't relevant anymore (i.e., high school/college stuff, etc.).
