HERE’S JUST SOME OF WHAT YOU’LL GET IN THIS COURSE

The Income Statement (16 video lessons)

Over 2 modules and 16 video lessons, we will introduce and walk through an Income Statement. You will learn about specific line items such as COGS and SG&A as well as metrics such as EBIT and EBITDA. The modules also include a two-part exercise to put theory into practice.

The Balance Sheet (6 video lessons)

This module uses 6 video lessons to introduce the Balance Sheet. We will introduce how Assets and Liabilities are presented in the Balance Sheet and how it links to the Income Statement. We will also continue the exercise from the Income Statement modules.

B/S Left-Hand Side: Assets (5 video lessons)

In this module, we work through 5 video lessons to learn about the many assets presented on the Balance Sheet. You will gain an understanding of Cash, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Intangible Assets, and Goodwill. The module also goes into detail on Property, Plants, and Equipment (PP&E).

B/S Right-Hand Side: Liabilities & Equity (4 video lessons)

In this module, we work through 4 video lessons that in-depth into the Liabilities and Equity sections of the Balance Sheet. You will gain an understanding of Deferred Revenue, Debt, Accounts Payable, Leases, and how book Equity is determined. To wrap up the Balance Sheet, we will continue the exercise.

The Cash Flow Statement (6 video lessons)

This module uses 6 video lessons to introduce the Cash Flow Statement. We will also walk through the three sections: cash from operating, investing, and financing activities. In the end, the exercise will be revisited and go through a practice interview question.

Non-GAAP Measures, Financial Statement Analysis and Earnings Management (4 video lessons)

In this module, 5 video lessons are used to demonstrate how to analyze financial statements. We will also discuss Net Working Capital and other considerations such as non-GAAP measures and Earnings Management.
