Schweser Institute - Junior Investment Analyst Certification

I somewhere on here recently read how large the CFA certificate is in size. So I googled it, and yeah it is pretty big. Among the image results I noticed the figure that is attached. I thought to myself, what the hell is a JIA? So I went to the webpage the image was located, and it was the FAQs for the JIA.

I did a quick search on here and didn't see anything, so I thought I'd present it to you guys. (I am anticipating a thorough bashing of this program). With that said, one still has to be at least a senior in UG to enroll. It is my understanding one earns the certification (or designation, whatever it is) after one exam. Is this something any of you would do just for an extra trinket to splat on the resume while you wait the minimum 4 years to earn the CFA designation? They claim it covers 60% of CFA level I curriculum.

Kid from my school who didn't get an internship did this. He's a schlub. This is the extent of my knowledge on this matter.

A schlub, lol I like it.

That was my understanding as well.
