Spouse got into law school and I have an IB offer --- What to do?

Ive got no idea what to do. I've got an IB offer that expires in a week and we have to make a decision.

Spouses law school (T14 with big law as a possibility) is in another state so we would have to move for it, but there is no bank office in that state.

We were not expecting this at all and I would have never accepted the superday if I knew I would be leaving the bank in a matter of 6 months to move for law school.

If I explain the situation to the recruiter/team, is there any hope of a work arrangement that could benefit us both? I highly doubt they would allow remote work in a different state, but is it crazy to try? Honestly have no idea what to do.

Asking before starting seems risky given the ample supply of candidates and lack of location availability. If it is something you really want to do, you might want to take it.

Sometimes you gotta make sacrifices. You both could split up for a year and make it work and lateral later.

Given both are in high impact fields, it will be rough, but you guys will be more understanding of each other’s career demands.

But if you think you will not regret letting it go to move out of state and you want to be with your spouse, then that is up to you.

But the fact you are asking makes me think you want to work. You could always mention it to the team to find a resolution, but fully remote sounds very unlikely.
