Not just teeth alone, but your teeth have a huge influence on overall perceived beauty. And people who are conceived as "attractive" have, on average, more success in the business world. Especially if it is client facing or in sales, etc
Oddly enough I have an invisalign appointment next week. I had braces as a kid and my teeth are like...95% fine...but I haven't worn my retainer in over a decade. Looking to get everything tightened up.
My dad got veneers. It was a massive upgrade and you'd never know they aren't real. If your teeth are shitty I'd definitely recommend it.
In the middle of my Invisalign treatment right now. Everyone’s cost is a bit different but all-in I’m in for about $4,600. I think that’s pretty standard for Invisalign but the b2c providers run about 30-40% cheaper.
Just did the exact same thing. Had Invisalign as a kid but my teeth shifted ever so slightly and it really bothered me. Nobody ever noticed but thought it was worth it to tighten them up. Definitely expensive though to barely move your teeth

There are cheaper ways to do it, if the issue is minor. You can have your dentist make you a tray that pushes the teeth together. This would cost a few hundred dollars.
Lol, I do have very good teeth but I get your point. Always amazed at teeth in the US and the importance people give to it over there. Like legit everyone has the same identical smile
For the most part, my bottom teeth have really small gaps, not very noticable, but I know they're there. I have a slight overbite as well, never had braces in my life. Would something like invisalign work? Don't want to get braces.
Will echo this. Had Invisalign to fix some minor imperfections... wore them for 8 months. They were 5,000 and insurance covered 1,500. They required a 500 deposits and then I did an interest free 12 month “care credit” account for the 3,000 balance rather than laying the cash out at once.
Had braces as a kid, but never wore my retainers, so several years later, my teeth had noticably shifted. Went to a few places that offered free consultations in my area (Midwest).
My final price was $1,600 out the door if I paid upfront, which of course I did. As a cherry on top, I applied for a new credit card that offered 0% interest for 18 months and $500 cash back with $3,000 in purchases in the first 3 months. Still got the standard points too!
So my total investment was barely a $1,000 for a 24 month treatment plan. Office visits about every 3 months.
Hard to quantify "ROI", but I'm really happy with my teeth and will damn for sure wear my retainers this time around. Since I'm a coffee addict, I still drank coffee with my retainers on. Not recommended as doing so well stain your teeth even more than usual. I'm surprisingly looking forward to seeing my dentist after COVID is under control to get my teeth cleaned + whitened.
For anyone considering Invisalign, I suggest shopping around, and possibly even looking "out of region" if the price difference is literally thousands of dollars. Even with airfare, it may be cheaper and you can consider the periodic office visits as vacations. My office appointments never took more than 60 minutes and your next set of aligners can be shipped to you for $20-30 bucks.
Next stop, veneers. But that costs $1,500 per tooth, so it won't be anytime soon.

That is not a northeast price, where prices are much more expensive.
Kind of but I lost interest after you gave a quote of $1,600. Your are basically calling the guy an idiot but you do not even know where he lives. The last part of your post is kind of funny. I am not sure that anyone is going to hop a flight to get Invisalign and then hop the same flight another 10 times.
That's funny, because my orthodontist has patients from NYC, Houston, and Denver that he's mentioned.
In addition to being price competitive, the guy is a published expert in medical journals, has been invited to talk at industry conferences in Asia, and has been flown in by clients (obviously for a premium), including a few celebrities, prominent business people, and influential politicians. Not necessarily for braces/Invisalign, because he does veneers as well.
It took me 1.5 years just to get a consultation, and that was because I had a referral from my MD, who's kid is a patient, too. I wore braces when I was younger, so my case was relatively minor, which is why I wasn't in any particular rush. And due to all these factors, I got rock bottom pricing.
Point is, do your research and be flexible. I was quoted $5,000+ by other orthodontists in my own region. Consider the full price and not just money though. Since my guy was so experienced and accomplished, not only did he do a great job, but an efficient one. I've already given him 2 referrals and there are people on here that have PM'ed me for his details.
Why can't everyone just be as wealthy, intelligent, and handsome as you financeabc? Why!?!?
Doing Invisalign now, been good so far. Pretty painless process. Had 14 trays, 1 tray every 2 weeks for 28 weeks to fix some overcrowding and line up the top. A bit pricey but would definitely recommend. No one can really tell you’re wearing them either

100% straight, white teeth. all natural as well. I brush three times/day and floss twice.
Had braces as a kid, for years. need invisalign in a few years though... to keep them this way. (teeth move throughout your entire life)
If I see a girl with crooked teeth I could throw up. it is the one thing that has to be right, besides nose and face.
Can you get dinged for not having straight teeth?

edit: lol who gives this monkey shit? Nerds
What's the cost? I feel like my teeth are a B+
I'll find out next week. Supposedly a good bit of it is covered by insurance.

Waiting to hear from the London bankers on this one......

a tiny overbite is considered normal. that is how it is supposed to be.
My dentist told me I had a small one and should consider braces, I don't know, never gave it much thought because it doesn't look bad or anything.
Invisalign is better than braces if you are compliant. Cost probably depends on location. I think I paid about $5,000 in the northeast.
