Take 2nd internship vs take SAT
Hey guys,
I am looking to transfer to a target school(applying next spring) and am wondering if I should take the SAT to expand my list of potential schools(at CC, never took in HS) or whether I should take an internship offer I have for my 5 week winter break at a respected national firm. It would be my 2nd private wealth management internship and I would be working with the lead portfolio manager.
Benefits of each- SAT: expand my list of schools by adding Wharton, Princeton, Georgetown, UVA, UNC, Boston College to my existing list that includes Cornell, Dartmouth, UMich, Wake Forest, Lehigh, USC, NYU, and a safety or two.
2nd Internship: gives me a stronger resume as I will be selling myself primarily based on my comeback story(poor performance and HS dropout to GED to CC with 3.7+ GPA) and work experience that also includes being a Real Estate Agent in a luxury market.
I'm leaning towards the internship but I don't want to end up having to settle for a safety because the 4-5 targets I apply to all end up rejecting me and not valuing the internships and RE license as much as I'm hoping for. Any imput is appreciated!
cant you just take the SAT on a Saturday and do both?
