Transfer Advice

For context: currently attend SEC school, sophomore, 4.0 GPA, have a small local MM PE spot this spring, a good LMM IB spot for this summer, and am a founding member of a subsidiary of our finance club. Going through the recruiting process for IB, but i’m not necessarily adamant.

Recently have been really struggling to determine what i’m truly looking for after undergrad and have been considering transfer options for a better school fit as well. Thinking a decent liberal arts (mostly because my primary interests lie outside the realm of finance and I see value in liberal arts) or public ivy would be the primary targets if I followed through.

Wondering if y’all may be able to offer some advice. Where to look (friendly student base to transfers, positive business school experiences, etc), whether or not to actually consider this, or any other thoughts.

Happy Holidays…

Sure. I’ve always found myself fascinated with history (watching video essays on geopolitics/war, History Marche-esk, books, etc). I grew up an artist and continue to dabble in it a bit; primarily sketching and now more recently graphic design related items. As an add on, I’ve picked up photography specifically when traveling. Also enjoy to write a little bit. Other than that I have a relative curiosity in STEM fields; many of my close friends are pursuing engineering degrees. Sports (CBB & NFL) are definitely a pastime interest as well. To clear the air though, the more I indulge in the markets and listen to field related podcasts, I do find myself very much enjoying finance and involvement in related clubs.
