Travelling using work vs using holidays

I'm a big fan of traveling and at 22 I already lived (6+ months) in 6 countries. Therefore, I'm thinking now at how my career could affect my travelling habit and I have a dilemma between those two paths in life:

  1. Pursue a career which will allow me to transfer between international offices every 3/4/5 years.
  2. Pursue a career which is tied to a specific country and I will be traveling on weekends and holidays.

Some pros of 1) may be that: a) I could experience what is like to be a local in those countries (being a local vs tourist is extremely different when going into a country); b) Life experience (cultures, people, etc.). Some cons: a) At 20s may be interesting but at 30s with a family may be stressful; b) Again, arranging income taxes, rent, social security, etc. may be a headache.

Sme pros of 2): a) I enjoy the idea of being part of a community and by being in a certain place for a lot of time you can generally have deep connections with everybody in the city; b) You create a local professional network which may open door to opportunities. Cons: a) Not sure if I would regret to pursue "comfort" and "routine" down the road instead of experiencing other cultures; b) Travelling for a few days or weeks isn't comparable to living there for a while.

So, as you see 1) would be more tied to exploring the world meanwhile 2) would be more tied to creating meaningful relationships.

Did anyone had the same dilemma? How do you prioritize?
