Liberals ruin everything they touch with their shitty policies so regular people + the liberals themselves end up fleeing the shitholes they've built to go and ruin other places run by people with common sense. They'll of course bring their bad ideas with them rather than admit their failed beliefs are what caused the problems they're leaving behind, which will inevitably ruin the places they move to. Can't wait to see what all the states people are moving to look like in another 20 years between this + the tens of million of illegals tipping the scales. US is fucked.

That's not true because the places that these "liberals" are moving to aren't exclusively conservative places, they're also moving to liberal Midwestern areas. They're taking advantage of the significant cost of living difference in the South, Midwest, and Southwest. Some of the states like Alabama and Ohio and the cities/towns in them have literally launched campaigns or incentives to attract residents because they get tax revenue and a stronger workforce out of it. Your argument is ridiculous because the population centers will always have the most people moving to and from them and the largest American population centers are almost always liberal because of the demographics they have. So naturally liberal cities like NY, Chicago, etc. are going to have a steady flow of people moving out to the suburbs no matter how great they are as people have families or retire. WFH might have accelerated it and some southern cities are experiencing growing pains from overused infrastructure, but it's not some political scheme or conspiracy.

It's a cost of living issue not a political issue. Covid made people realize they could work from home and as suck didn't need to live in expensive areas to work the same job. This results in more spending power and more savings for these individuals.

Based on the title, I was expecting a thread on the migration of transgender people. The phrase you’re probably looking for is “interstate migration”.

Nah I have specifically written reports of transmigration of Hispanic people in college. Specifically migration across the border and then to other communities within the US for my Spanish major.

I think the title should be one word though - it won’t let me change it now.

Interstate migration is probably correct too.

Only affects poor people. Despite the problems with NYC, it's still where the top 0.001% jobs reside and where all the models and hot girls are. I don't like Miami/west coast's nouveau rich scene with their culture of BBLs/purple lambos/iced out gold chains so that's not an option. I'm much more into the old world Barbour/Range Rover/signet rings/fashion week social scene/culture, so probably the only other major city I would ever live would be London.
