Vacation

I have a week off after starting in a BB 7.5 months ago. I’m burnt so want to travel for a few days (maybe 2). Was thinking Vegas or LA but given covid, would appreciate any insight

LA is dope and has a little bit of everything. You could check out all the touristy stuff in Hollywood/Downtown, go hiking/driving in the mountains, hit the beach, dine at some amazing restaurants, check out the dispensaries... the list is endless. Vegas is pretty much gambling and hanging out on the strip. Not sure if the shows have opened back up yet.

Florida seems like a good option right now, assuming you have no problem with things being open/potentially contracting COVID (but I assume you are considering you're willing to go on vacation). Weather is absolutely perfect at this time and you can find a lot of different places to suit your preferences that are cheaper than Vegas or LA  but still plenty of fun. Call me a simpleton but almost nothing is as fun to me on vacation as the classic beach stuff (jet skis, parasailing, surfing, or even just lying on the sand). Assuming you're coming from NYC I think a week in Florida would be great, only because I feel like in LA and even Vegas to a certain extent things will be too restricted to get the full experience, but you still get away from the freezing temperatures to 80 and sunny at a cheaper price.

Under normal circumstances, I'd recommend Vegas. But you can't experience Vegas right in the COVID environment with the limitations on how many per table and the partitions between you and the other gamblers/dealers. Not to mention clubs and pool parties being closed.

With LA you can do beaches and hiking, outdoor dining, and drive up to Malibu. LA is a much better idea in the COVID environment.
