What are some things in "high finance" that you don't see in regular finance?

A lot of people want to work in "high finance" but I don't know what's the difference between "high finance" and regular finance? Like, what are some financial documents that the CEO and President of big finance companies sees that an analyst doesn't have clearance to see?

How profitable each person is in a company.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Man said clearance like this is the FBI.

High finance is a made up term and all it means is conduct complex work with large sums of money. No one actually uses this term IRL btw because if you think about it, someone in corporate treasury might be doing complex stuff with large sums of money but that's probably not considered "high finance".

People want to work in "high finance" (IB/PE/AM/HF etc.) Because you get paid more. That's pretty much it.
