BX Secondaries
Who is the headhunter of BX Strategic Partners? Any insight into the main HH for secondaries would be great as well. Thanks.

Maybe my background just blows so they’ve never reached out to me but I feel like SP never takes laterals. They just hire interns and promote from within. Feel like everyone I’ve met from there joined out of college and never left.
Not sure about headhunters but laterals are possible but rare. Most are promoted internally.
ppl there have told me they have 0 reason to leave- good culture/wlb and great economics. definitely some lucky ducks who joined the group in the 2010s who by their own admission had no idea what secondaries was at the time and have pretty much all stayed within the team
I’d add Lexington to this category. They almost never take laterals and no one ever leaves
Is there good upward mobility opportunity for joining associates?
Good "wlb"? It is, by all accounts, the most hours-intensive group at BX. Not sure who these people are you're talking to, but analysts are not enjoying "good... wlb"
lmao VP/MD both of whom came up as analysts, both mentioned decent wlb
Will occasionally add a lateral once every few years if a need arises but happens so rarely that there isn’t a default HH relationship pretty sure
