Growth Equity / VC 2024 Associate Recruiting

Anyone else feel like most growth / late stage VCs haven’t had a process for 2024? I’m at a strong tech group and most processes seem to be on hold or moving extremely slow. Maybe it’s just me but feel like I’ve done good in my interviews and have solid experience.

I know most of these funds are getting crushed and are in some cases struggling to raise capital but do people think this will ever turn in the next 6 months or so? Starting to think about a backup plan given nothing is coming together
