Is IR the role least affected by AI in finance?
In the era of AI automation, investor relations seems to be one of the more insulated roles since it is so client-facing. Am I wrong?

Depends on the level. IR as a junior is never going to be sales/fundraising. All the backend stuff will be easily automated, and sales / raising cap is reserved for the seniors who stay until they are pushed out or retire.
