Megafund Private Equity and Transcripts
Will megafunds look at your transcript during the recruiting process, or do they just see your GPA on the resume and check your transcript after you get your offer?
That really depends on the firm.
I've actually never heard of a PE firm looking at a candidates transcript.

Mine never did.
After you sign with any good buyside shop, they will run a background check that includes verification of where you attended college and your transcript.
