PE Recruiting with H-1B?
Current first year analyst and just found out I was selected in the H-1B lottery. Haven't spoken to PE firms / HHs yet since I was on OPT but now that I have the H-1B want to start applying / potentially go through on-cycle later this summer.
Are most firms open to hiring those that already have the H-1B visa? What has people's experience been like with PE recruiting with an H-1B visa?

A lot easier if you’re on H1B, you’ll be getting looks from the majority of MF, UMM and MM funds in the market. Just make sure you articulate your situations with HH so they know that there’s no immigration risk in medium term.
