Thoughts on Sixth Street
Anyone have good insights? Best teams, junior comp, strategy, etc? Seems like they’re moving a bit towards private and growth equity vs. legacy credit strategies but would be curious to hear more.

Super legit shop with solid track record under their belt and $50B AUM. Also doing something similar to Athene / Apollo with their investment in Talcott. Very high praise for them.
They run a variety of strategies from special sits (one of their best teams) and specialty lending to GE and even agricultural investing. They also have a pretty unique fund called TAO which invests like 20b+ across asset classes
Good place to be overall and I’ve heard pay is pretty good
.
How are they differentiated from any other fund out there? Seems like all they did was convert from being a spinout credit oriented investor to becoming a growth investment platform
Bump on the above? Interested in them for 2023 on cycle and would love to hear more about all in ASO Comp / perks / culture

Bump especially on liquid credit side
Bump on any insights
