Vista 2027 Summer Analyst - Any word?!

Submitted from target school w/ referrals and haven't heard anything except for IQ test (which apparently has super high cutoff that eliminates 90% of applicants). Anyone heard anything?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Vista Equity Partners is known for its highly systematic recruitment process, and the IQ test (CCAT) is indeed a significant hurdle. Historically, the cutoff for this test has been quite high, with some years requiring a score of 40-42 out of 50 to move forward. This eliminates a large portion of applicants early in the process.

If you've already completed the IQ test and haven't heard back, it's not uncommon for there to be a waiting period. Vista's process typically involves multiple stages, including personality assessments, phone interviews, and a final superday with several interviews. If you haven't received further communication, it might be worth reaching out to your referrals or the campus recruiter for an update.

In the meantime, ensure you're prepared for potential next steps, such as behavioral and technical interviews. WSO's Private Equity Interview Prep resources could be a great way to sharpen your skills while you wait. Good luck!
