I’m applying for the Vista 2022 Summer Analyst position from a non-target.
I saw that last year people were talking about a timeline for rejection letters, 1st call, 2nd call, etc. with the 1st deadline in July.
Is it the same this year? I just finished applying and taking the CCAT/personality test and am wondering ballpark of when I’ll hear back.

Associate said that first rounds will be released this week. Also mentioned the heavy emphasis on the CCAT results being what determines if someone gets a first round.
Just from experience, the CCAT exam is total bs. Have a few colleagues who pretty much aced the assessments (top iq / very personal) and didn't advance (this is for associate, not SA). Don't feel like this exam measures your self-worth, those colleagues ended up at incredibly good shops anyway (often times, larger funds than Vista tbh). Good luck!

We use the CCAT at my firm and while it's not flawless, our view is that there are enough practice tests out there so candidates have the ability to prepare (and should). If we identify a candidate with a lot of promise based on networking/intangibles, we may make an exception and grant a first round.

Does anyone know how many interns Vista typically takes?
They take 10 interns, and usually offer half of them to come on FT. This % returning FT is slated to increase in future years according to HR.
