DBN_182, hey, look at the bright side, at least you didn't get a ton of monkey shit thrown at you...here is my best guess on threads that might be helpful:

More suggestions...

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.

Bumping. Was wondering what the process is like, and if they hire out of undergrad / only really hire people with more experience.

Funniest

You're not particularly good at googling then, because CBRE does not own TCR. CBRE owns TCC. Crow Holdings owns TCR.

Wondering if you could explain the difference between TCC and TCR. Seems like there’s some overlap in product types, which makes me wonder why that is the case and how distinct these companies actually are from each other.

Also curious on comparing them in terms of culture, comp, and barrier of entry, if anyone has info on that. I work in industrial dev, too, but TCC/TCR are the ones I don’t really have that much info about.

They're just completely different companies. Trammell Crow Company is the commercial real estate development arm under CBRE. The other Crow companies are privately held companies under the Crow Holdings family office umbrella.

Think of it this way - Trammell Crow, the man, created a business, took it public, and then that public company was bought by CBRE. He also had his family office, Crow Holdings, under which Trammell Crow Residential exists, which he kept in the family.

If each company was named something distinct instead of after the founder, or if Crow Holdings had 5 employees instead of 500 like most family offices, it wouldn't be confusing.
