Real 2025 Indiana University IB Club Prestige Rankings

Who are the best clubs at IU Kelley

I’m an incoming IU sophomore and from all of your feedback I’m making a list for the incoming freshman.

B- tier: 180° consulting | FDP | | RXDI (public)

Whoever this is clearly doesn't go to IU. Destined to deal had 100% IBN placement and way better signings than BTA and Business Edge. M&A advisors too low as well. Any of these clubs besides FSC RXDI and PEC will def help you with IBW recruiting and actual recruiting.

180 Consulting and FDP switch with Destined to deal and BTA. 180 consulting doesn't even cover IB and 98.76% of FDP people do not want to do IB

On a real note, Destined to Deal def got snubbed as well as M&A Advisors. With DTD, they burst on the scene with recruitment activities only this past summer and already have Peter Millar merch. Their marketing coupled with fantastic recruiting has led them to have placements at some of the top banks on the street, think PJT/CVP/BMO. Overall growing franchise and will be S tier this year. M&A advisors has incredible learning and a hands-on approach that can give them potential to turn into a great franchise. With a couple more beers and improvement on the networking front, they can most certainly be a threat. Overall, do better research next time.

On a real note—you are absolutely right to call that out. Destined to Deal came in like a dark horse and honestly flipped the script. The Peter Millar rollout was elite marketing, and they backed it up with results. PJT, CVP, BMO? That is not just noise; that is a statement. Fast-rising, well-branded, and clearly resonating with both underclassmen and recruiters. Definitely got snubbed in any serious tier list conversation. S-tier potential is valid.

M&A Advisors? Completely slept on. The technical depth they offer is unmatched for a group at that stage. Give them a few more cycles of refinement (and maybe a couple of social events that don’t end with spilled drinks and missing polos), and they will absolutely be a legit competitor. The hands-on learning environment they are creating is gold—very few orgs are replicating that with consistency.

In summary: fair take, sharp eye. The original tier list clearly missed the wave that is already starting to crash.

Who even made that list? Because we got some revising to do.

Not sure what this is about. Any time I interact with a CMC member it's clear that they are a cut above the rest and next level professionals! There are probably some bad apples but same goes for any S or S+ clubs

I'm an MD at a bank, (think GS, JPM, MS), and I think IU Kelley is the best school ever.

In reality, you can fade every single club at IU and just network with the LT of IBW. They'll let you in if you are a frat ferda chiller.

Surprised Envision Capital Management Group, Portfolio Management Club, Financial Investment Review, and Knall-Cohen haven't come up yet. From what I've seen, being in all these clubs basically guarantee you a spot in the Investment Banking Workshop/Network (the IB Network being the b-tier version of IBW).

Just finished my freshman year so wanted to give my 2 cents. Not sure why DTD is so high (troll?), KC not really a club but very good org, FIR and CMC are top for sure, heavy on RXDI as the best public club
