Most prestigious early life pipeline

The most prestigious late life pipeline was and always is finance/c-suite -> politics, and mid life pipelines can be anything.

But Eton -> Oxbridge PPE/Classics is and will always be the most prestigious pipeline to ever exist. Doors carved of granite, forever closed off to those of inferior alma maters and backgrounds are opened with oiled hinges for graduates from those ivory towers.

Eton - Boys' school, sausage fest producing questionable looking gremlins with the inability to talk to women.

Oxford - Based university but too many failing to break into even mid/low tier BBs to be top tier of prestige. Certainly, the precipice of prestige in the UK but will consistently be second-fiddle to HYP on the global stage.

Nice one BBH.

Controversial

Lol its always been defacto that Oxb > US schools in Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe, Latin America, Africa and Oceania. That's how strong Oxbridge's prestige is. If you actually travelled outside of the US (you don't because of your LMM comp, I presume), nobody will recognize your "Princeton" or "Stanford". Hell, even Harvard, the most overrated US school is less recognized than Oxbridge. Hell, I saw a statistic a few years back that 87% of the US population recognizes Harvard and 85% recognized Oxbridge, but 79% of the global population recognizes Oxbridge as opposed to 34% for Harvard. I suppose this number drops sub 15 for other US institutions.

Hell, I grew up in the UK and the only schools I had heard of until A-levels were Oxbridge, LSE, Yale, Wharton and MIT (only because MIT loves paying movies and TV shows to constantly mention them). I even thought Wharton was a university rather than a business school.

Oxbridge kids don't chase finance like you backwater Americans do. It's simply not as prestigious here in the ivory towers of England and Switzerland. The top kids go into politics or academia for far more soft power and potential comp.

Too long not reading. You should have gone to a proper alma mater that is recognised as the top tier by professionals. If you’re using random camel jockeys recognising your school as a metric you’re retarded. Straight up no excuse. If you went to a boys school you’re parent shafted you and got cucked into paying to ensure you have a ruinous sex life for the rest of your life.

tldr should’ve gone to HYP. Anything below might be good, but not good enough.

Are you fucking retarded, you american overweight whale? If you stepped outside of your country (which makes up less than 5% of the global population), you would find nobody recognizes your shitty ass schools that have zero recognition outside of some Indian cockriders or Canadian cucks. Oxbridge dominates 95% of the world and are equal or superior to your top schools in the US.

Why study the classics specifically? I am so curious, which is better Oxford or Cambridge?

Classics is extremely prestigious.

Generally it's O > C, with C having an edge in STEM. O is the world's eminent institution and houses the most prestigious scholarship in the world. It beats C in terms of placement in the ivory towers of politics, but C beats it in Nobel prizes (most in the world). C places somewhat better in high finance, but that's student interest rather than institution quality.

I'm a bit surprised. I thought O was more politically conservative whereas C was much more left wing?

Classics is not prestigious, it yields a 40% acceptance rate and is inreasingly becoming a cesspool of unemployment.

PPE is fire tho do that instead.

Although I did read PPE, despite already knowing a fair bit of latin. I always struggled with languages since I was a kid and had a genuine fear I wouldn't even graduate with a 2.1 if I read classics.

Mate you sound like a 12 year old Brexit Party Youth member with a number of odd fantasies about Nigel Farage.

Oxford and Cambridge are poverty stricken backwater institutions which need to be bailed out by Arab oil and real estate billionaires every 5 years.

The only doors they open exclusively are immediate membership to the British socialist party after your undergrad degree in lesbian economics or something about beastiality with deceased porcines.

Most prestigious early life is obviously Phillips Andover to Wharton Finance to family company or fund.

Only as strange as your entire commentary on this thread which I hope is trolling but otherwise appears to be some sort of projection about your insecurities for being rejected by HYP and UPenn as well as some sort of Rule Britannia nationalism which mostly died out after the Suez crisis.

But each to their own I suppose.
