Georgetown will get you EB looks, but I'd say it's certainly more of a BB school. Lazard and PWP are the two EB's who consistently take the multiple (generally around 3-4 per class). Centerview consistently takes around 2 per class. PJT, Evercore (took 3 SA & 1 FT for M&A), and Moelis generally take a few students. All of the banks above had listings on Handshake, and all of them have events at school. For SA's this year, I know students going to Lazard, PWP, Evercore, Moelis, Centerview, and Guggenheim.
as a gu student id say a good way to think about it is that were a tier 2 target school behind your whartons and harvards etc., so id compare us to ross. the diff is that ross focuses on eb’s we focus on bb’s. that said they all pull up, everyone does fairly well, but its probably easier from the other schools on the list, even if its marginal at times

Will update my computer soon and leave Incognito so I will disappear forever. How did I achieve Neanderthal by trolling? Some people are after me so need to close account for safety.
Solid school that should get you looks from almost anyone. Good choice! Work hard in school, network and you shall succeed!

Obviously biased as an alum, but UT Austin has underrated NY EB placement. UT is a target school for Evercore which takes 3-5 analysts per year. UT also has placed analysts pretty consistently in the last couple years at Moelis, PJT, Lazard, and PWP.
Not 100% sure but from what I've seen and heard, UNC isn't as strong for EB as it is for BBs. My estimate is 5-8 kids per year from UNC compared to 15-20 kids from UVA for EBs.

The usual suspects. Ivies, Stern, Ross, Duke, maybe Gtown (not too sure about Gtown).

What kind of kids do EBs at Gtown take? Do you have to be a superstar?
GTown gets more EB looks than Stern or Ross...
Lol you definitely went to Gtown
bro we do not. stern sure. ross hell no. altho ross is double in size...

UVA

maybe transfer to IU Kelley for top looks at every bank in the world? should consider
Headed to USC Marshall next year, thoughts on their EB placement? I know they send like 5-6 to Evercore SF/La/ NY but that’s about it
You know you're posting as a summer associate right? And are you talking about undergrad or MBA?
Brown especially gets a lot of looks from PWP

Great school and program, but not a target ofr EB
UT is 100% a Target for Evercore M&A. It has been confirmed multiple times. As long as George Ackert is a partner, it will be a target school.
What about Brown?
PWP, Evercore, Centerview come on campus. PJT and Lazard have resume drops. Moelis doesn’t recruit, but there are numerous alums that will help out
Interesting. I saw somewhere that no one from Brown has gone to Centerview as analyst for a long time

How is duke for EB's?
