Barclays PB Career Trajectory and Comp

Recently saw a job posting for a Private Banking Executive role at Barclays. It sounds like a support role (supporting a senior Private Banker), but I’m unclear on whether or not it leads to a Private Banker (relationship manager) role in future. Anyone have insight into the career trajectory of a PB executive, whether or not they’re pigeonholed into a supporting role, and what the comp trajectory looks like from that level onwards?
