I am a Phd student in electrical engineering. Can I apply for a trading position or they generally prefer only undergraduates?

you can get onto any desk at a BB that you want as an associate most likely, many have separate quant trading programs you can apply to as well. there is a phd on my ird desk and its not an exotics desk.
