Applying to IB - FIG

Hello friends,

I've trashed enough of your resumes in the past, time I get some back. I'm appying for IB analyst positions, particularly in FIG.

Greatly appreciate any feedback.

Your resume looks strong and I like the formatting.

I would consider providing less detail on what you did for the "Analyst Quarterly Meeting" My suggestion would be to try and combine a few bullet points. Perhaps omit the sub-bullets under developed excel add-in. Hope this is helpful!

I personally think the (mis)alignment of city/state and dates and bullet points looks pretty bad...in my opinion it looks much better if all cities and dates are aligned hard right.

Assuming GPA is excluded because it's not as high as you would like but since you're only 2 years out of school I imagine they will want to know your GPA too.

I would try to align your "City,State" and your "Date of Employment" section directly beneath that farther to the right. It just looks slightly centered right. I think it would look cleaner if you could push it farther to the right, possibly changing your margins.

I would also add maybe ONE more interest, as this can't hurt your chances and broadens the chances of someone reading your resume having something in common with you.

Lastly, I would ENLARGE the font of your NAME as well as that of sub headers. Just pops it out more and makes it more readable. Most importantly, you want your name to significantly stand out among the rest of the content in your resume. Best of luck.
