I Banking Comp Ranges by Rank

Can someone give a sense of compensation for ibanking by rank... any ideas... I know that numbers vary alot, especially at the MD level but if someone has a guess based on some experience, please let me know. Thanks

1st yr associate?
3rd yr associate?
1st yr VP?
3rd yr VP?
Junior MD?
MD that's been at the job for 5 years at top bank?

here are what i think the ranges are...my best guess...these can obvioulsy fluctuate

1st yr associate? base: $80-$120, bonus: $100-$200 3rd yr associate? base: $100-$140, bonus: $140-$280 1st yr VP? base: $130-$180, bonus: $220-$600 3rd yr VP? base: $160-$220, bonus: $280-$1,000 Junior MD? base: $180-$350, bonus: $400-$2,000 MD that's been at the job for 5 years at top bank?

base: $300-$800, bonus: $800-$10,000+

i'm sure people will disagree with my ranges, but that is what i've heard.

Total Compensation Chart Position Low High

1st Year Analyst $60,000 $90,000

2nd Year Analyst $70,000 $110,000

3rd Year Analyst $110,000 $175,000

1st Year Associate $170,000 $250,000

2nd Year Associate $280,000 $385,000

3rd Year Associate $295,000 $565,000

4th Year Associate $350,000 $670,000

Vice President $390,000 $1,500,000

SVP, Director, Principal $550,000 $2,000,000

Managing Director $785,000 $7,000,000

Department Head $2,000,000 $65,000,000

The Associate #s look good but I don't know about the VP. I worked at a BB for a while, and there was never a time when the VP's lowest comp was lower than the Associate's highest comp. If this was ever going to happen, it would be in a major down year (since most VPs are paid based on bank revenue while Associates are paid based on a strict bonus pool) so it's hard to imagine this happening in a year when most banks set records for earnings.
