Your numbers are a bit off.. 1st years make closer to 100k on average.
Are these numbers projected for 2006 or reflective of 2005 actuals?
Goddamn look at those numbers for seniors
Anyone know how I can take a peek at this?
a peek at what? the numbers are right there..
dude,
u need to look at the policy...only if u have more than 3 bannanas can u see the database...
so earn them and view at your pleasure
i have three now, thanks for the help
who's your daddy?
Makes 60+10 + year end of like 40-90k... Something like $65,000 is the median. That pushes total comp to at least $60+65.
That's a huge fluctuation from 800k to 10 million.
What are the numbers for bulge bracket, New York?
Oh,,,never mind.
hey do i get bannas
haha

Hey Banking that survey was from the year 1999 so that data is really old and of no value now...most of the salaries have changed since then.
DO most bankers attempt to reach the level of managing director, i know everyone cant get there and would assume it would require a large amount of networking as well a pretty good resume and other things also, there pay is really amazing
Anyone wish they weren't doing iBanking? That they had a more regular job?
Living in NY, don't you feel like everyone is an i-banker sometimes?
Yeah I know what you mean!
middle market banks compensation??
yeah what is the difference for boutiques?
can someone explain what's the typical route for an ibanker? analyst 1-3, mba and then associate?
does anyone know of an analyst or associate getting 0 bonus (but not fired)??
Associate-1: 280-360 Associate-2: 325-450 Associate-3: 425-600 VP-1: 575-725
I left out one firm's #'s who had serious outliers on both ends of spectrum. The rest are pretty consistent.
The Associate #s look good but I don't know about the VP. I worked at a BB for a while, and there was never a time when the VP's lowest comp was lower than the Associate's highest comp. If this was ever going to happen, it would be in a major down year (since most VPs are paid based on bank revenue while Associates are paid based on a strict bonus pool) so it's hard to imagine this happening in a year when most banks set records for earnings.
Most firm's high for Associate-3 (3 of 4)was 550. With VP1-low at 575(3 of 4). I'm only comparing 4 firms as thats the only info i have.
