Does anyone else just love completely ignoring hot girls in the gym? It drives them fucking crazy. Today on the treadmill during my 10k (6:30 pace), this one girl was doing arm weights in front of me and I completely ignored her for like ten minutes and then she came and did butt squats directly in front of me when the entire floor was open. I maintained eye contact with myself in the mirror the entire time like a psychopath. Then, this MILF chose the tricep dip machine directly in front of my treadmill which was 18 inches away from my face (two other ones she could have chosen) and stared at me the whole time which was kinda creepy. I just find ignoring them to be so much fun, they just look over at me and some of them stare at me, hoping I’ll give them attention or look at their body but I just stare at myself in the mirror and maintain perfect form. I had something like this happen one time it was pretty strange. Was cranking on the treadmill and this hot ass girl comes up and stands on the one next to me with like a pouting face and keeps looking at me for like a long time. Think she was expecting me to ask her what was wrong or something lol. I said nothing.
Here’s why this post is silly - girls who are actually hot are inundated with male attention. If you’re a 9/10 girl, literally everywhere you go someone is trying to fuck you: your job, your gym, the bar, when you go out to dinner, the car wash, book club, when you’re volunteering, etc etc. It’s just a constant barrage of male attention.
The last thing this figurative 9/10 girl is worrying about is if some dude on a treadmill is going to notice her. She’s likely doing the opposite (trying to avoid all men at the gym). Even if treadmill guy is super hot - super hot guys find this girl literally everywhere she goes. She just wants to get a pump in.
So assuming OP is telling the truth, the girls are 5/10 at best. I’ve literally never met a hot girl (an actual hot girl) who would actively want attention from a random guy in a gym.

I definitely think there’s a real difference between 7s and 9s. I’ve dated plenty of 7s but arguably no 9s. But it’s all relative - your 9 may not be the same as your buddy’s 9.

If you’re an attractive male you will know this fact. Some women or people in general love to seek validation, and sometimes feel less full filled without it. For example, look at the people who make a long drawn out post on LinkedIn for being an iNcOMinG Analyst. Most guys are blinded by the physical and social features by women, women once you bypass that, you would see that most are just as weird as dudes.
The point is that a 9/10 woman will not seek out validation from [hot guy at gym]. She will of course seek out validation from [well known figure in her social circle] or Celebrity or [successful business dude she knows] like you described.
I remember seeing a video on insta of some amazingly hot girl desperately trying to get Dave Portnoy’s attention at a concert. It was funny seeing someone so hot act so desperate, so yeah I agree - this video proves your point. Women are no different than men.
MY point is just that girl from the Dave port not video isn’t going after guys in her gym. Because he’s just some guy in the gym that’s in shape. If she saw a public figure in the gym, that’s a different story because he’s “somebody”. I guess I’m trying to emphasize the amount of options that highly desirable women (and men) have.

I relate to this so much. Girls talk about how it’s so annoying when guys hit on them at the gym but second someone doesn’t give them the time of day, they try so hard to get attention. I’m convinced there is a group of gym girls who don’t actually like working out - rather, they like wearing ass lifting leggings that draw attention so they feel hotter than the soft 6 that they actually are.
I believe this post really happened. If not, it could really happen, especially with a MILF. I do this all the time now. Hot girls know that men glance at them wherever they go. If you don't give a hot girl this attention, it will get confused and will start giving you attention.

Then she did squats also right in front of you. Nah. Gyms dont have free weights and squat racks right in front of the cardio section. 3/10 on the troll. This is a smaller gym with a rectangle open floor layout. There’s two smaller levels in the main section, one, which is a row of treadmills with a small wall between the treadmills and a main floor which is used for free weights. The places for tricep dips are directly on the other side of the wall in front of the treadmills.. She was not doing squats in a squat rack but instead was doing some weird butt twerking resistance band shit while holding 5 lb weights in the free weights section. See attached diagram

A lot of people commenting on here saying hot girls don't want attention at the gym are either willfully ignorant, or have never been to a gym. When I go to the gym, I wear sweat pants or track pants and a T-shirt (odd time a tank top). Why do women wear the smallest, tightest little outfits that show 80-90% skin? They could just as easily wear sweat pants and a T-shirt, they don't, they want to show skin, they want to show off, they want the attention.

I agree. I've noticed over the past year (dunno if its from gyms closing) but there are way more hot chicks in my gym who are basically working out in what almost amounts to bikini. As you say, I don't really get the purpose. I've talked to some girls I know and they've said if you wear a shirt over their sports bra its one more thing to wash, but I also think its just the environment we're in, everyone wants to show everything; however, might be in for an awaking down the road when you're use to being a 9/10 and age catches up.
I also agree with above, with girls at least, they can be naturally thin and kind of fake it in the gym for the attention. Guys on the other hand can't really fake being muscular, that requires actual work.
They want the attention....but they will never fuck a guy who is one the same level as they are. The attention they want is just like a morning coffee to start their day. They will not lower their standards untill they reach 35. Women want guys who are above them in social hierarchy.
