JPM AWM Analyst Superday

I have been invited to a super day in a couple weeks with JPMorgan. It is for their AWM analyst program. I am trying to get some advice from someone who has recently been through the process. What type of questions should I expect? Lots of behavioral with a couple technical focusing on markets seems to be a realistic expectation.

Anyways, does anyone have any info they can provide to help me prepare for this super day?

I have my superday on Friday. So will do my best to help if no one else replies... do you know the difference between on and off-cycle hiring? I was invited to both superdays but have been told I can only choose one.

On cycle is going to be better for the people graduating in May, like myself. There is a set start date that everyone who is coming in from on-cycle will start during. Off-cycle is for more experienced people trying to get into JPM. Their start dates are listed as ASAP. I was told there will be some sort of mix between the amount they hire from the on-cycle and off-cycle.

I just completed my super day for the AWM Analyst Program in Houston. Mostly behavioral and a few off-the-wall questions from a director. Got a few questions regarding market knowledge and current trends but nothing too intense. If you know your resume well and can answer the "tell me a time when..." questions, you'll do fine.

Best of luck to y'all!

Thank you for the intel! I have mine tomorrow morning, did they give you any indication how long it'll take to hear back? What do you mean off-the-wall questions from a director? Like how many chickens fit in a plane?

Yeah just some weird logic questions and specific questions about the bank itself. Other than that, nothing too difficult or out of the ordinary.

As far as hearing back, I didn’t get to ask. The bad thing about it being on zoom is that it would just kick you out of your breakout room in the middle of talking or answering a question. So there was no wrap up of the conversation or last second questions. If they tell you anything regarding that, let me know please.

I have not heard back yet. Superday was Friday the 19th and they told me 2 weeks. I expect offers will go out either tomorrow or early next week with a time frame to accept/decline. Then rejections will go out sometime the week after, assuming they fill every analyst spot.

Had my superday 3/16, got an offer 3/18.  Can echo what a previous poster said - strictly behavioral, but very conversational.  My recommendation would be to toe the line between casual and professional - it seemed like they really wanted to make sure that I could "shoot the shit" and have a conversation with.  Good luck to all.

Edit: This for JPM's private bank, a regional office in California.

I had a superday and was told 2 weeks. Had it on last Friday and haven’t heard anything yet :/ is there still time or is it over?

I am sure different regional offices handle it differently, but I imagine many of them are going to be fast moving because they have more important things to worry about

Had a super day for the AWM Analyst Program in the Austin office yesterday (3/23). Mostly behavioral and conversational with some questions regarding networking with UHNW Individuals.

If anyone attended this super day and hears back, let me know!

Hey... I heard back with an offer a week after my superday. So I had my superday on March 19th. And received my verbal offer on March 26th

Hey y'all, I completed the Hirevue back in mid Feb. My application is still pending. Is it worth reaching out to campus recruiting team? Seeing a ton of folks getting their superday interviews a few weeks back.

It cant hurt anything... But, I would not expect much as I am not sure of places that have not had their superdays yet.

Does anyone here know if our HireVue videos are saved? I was invited to a HireVue video interview during Feb of 2021 (not chosen for a further interview), and recently applied again to JPM's AWM Program Analyst role this month. Also how are the interviews like? (How technical are they?)
