UBS HK IBD SA Final Round

as far as i noe, a friend of mine just had his second phone interview completed a few days ago, while ill be having my second phone int completed a few days later. So unless they are dinging us, i dont see the result coming out yet. maybe late next week will be my guess at the earliest?

um...the second phone interview? The HR email that was sent earlier said that there will be two rounds, first round phone interview and then second round superday....was there a second phone interview? Was this scheduled by the HR?

uh... first round consist of two phone interviews.. either hr or the respective analyst/associate contacts you

are you sure it has two phone interviews? um...if you dont mind me asking....was that implied by the HR?

Sorry to have to ask such questions, it's just that I had my first round phone interview in Dec...and the interviewer told me that he would pass me on to the next round...since that, I have not heard from UBS.....

what are your thoughts?

FebBubble, you most likely did not move onto the next round. I am interviewing with Goldman Sachs in HK and their interview process is similar. One first round phone interview at the end of December. A second round phone interview in mid-January. A final round superday in early February.

The thing is....the interviewer told me that I did a really good job and that he would recommend to the HR that I move on to the next step....so I'm not sure what went wrong....

Look, it varies among companies and even divisions. I don't know what GS division you have been interviewing with but they have a second round face-to-face interview for the IBD and the FG. From what I know, UBS has only one first round phone interview.

UBS hk had 2 phone interviews last year. could be different this year...

if you're in the midwest/west coast school, the super day is a little later than the 19th in chicago btw

uh... well, my friend had the second phone interview, and i will be having the second phone interview real soon as well, the HR from the begining set it up with two people, but i was contacted directly by them to schedule it specifically. maybe it depends on your school. im in midwest.

I asked HR about it - it will be in the week of 18th Jan and will be in NYC. I thought it'd be in Hong Kong? My semester begins Jan 26th and I'm at home in Asia now.

how did you contact HR... any new status update for ubs... did anyone hear back from them yesterday (hk monday)

I got invited to superday on the 19th. Does anyone know if they reimburse travel costs?

Every firm that asks u to go to super day will reimburse

wow mono.... so much for reviving and replying to a thread a year old... but ubs hk final rounds are normally completed in chciago and nyc.

i got the superday in Chicago on the 21st. The layout is weird though, presentation, group discussion, numerical tests, etc... i'm pretty freaked out... no idea what to expect...

when is ubs final?

anybody got an email saying they're hiring more SAs? Kinda late, but seems they are going on a hiring spree...

i didn't get the email... how do i apply? is it possible to work in HK even if you don't speak Chinese?
