I really don't get why you all make these threads, it just makes the process more competitive for you, but to each his own.

Yes, a thread on WSO about useless applications deadlines will definitely make the recruitment process harder. Spot on. Exactly what I was thinking.

If I recall you're also the one worried about how the call time on your 1st Round matched up w/ mine. This your first rodeo son?

'Before you enter... be willing to pay the price'

As @goblan pointed out these are only online deadlines. @Loki777: I already got so much help from this website I want to give back at least in a small way like this. It's gonna be competitive anyway so I wanted it to be informative and myself not miss any deadlines.

I think the deadline for Wells Fargo online app for IB is over. Can anyone tell me if they are really done with their online app? Keep posting guys!

This thread is just stupid. All of those deadlines are crap, while yes that might be what they have posted on there web sites almost all firms are starting to offer first rounds this and next week and have superdays befor the end of the month with the exception of some of the better MM who seem to have first rounds late this month and superday in October.

These deadlines are completely wrong. For instance RBS will be done recruiting by the first week of October so saying the deadline is the 15th is miss informing people. Barclays deadline online is Oct 15 yet they will be offering first rounds in the next week. If people wait to apply for these deadlines they are screwed. But hey if you want to screw people be my guest

Meh, CT banker is right. People will miss deadlines from this thread. Honestly, applications should be out today or tomorrow for every bank you have networked with this summer, or you're too late. DB has already begun extending invites for an early October SD. Citi will begin next week as will Barclays.

There's a superday this coming week for DB.

I received my invite yesterday for an early October superday. I'm also from a non-target and interned for a small boutique in the southeast this summer.

JPM - As usual not recruiting much outside of their summer class. Have to have someone in the firm vouch for you in order to grab a first round interview.

William Blair - Almost all interns will be returning next year with the exception of a few. Maybe a few spots open, but have to reach out to someone in the firm directly for opportunities. No OCR.

When did you hear this information. As of a week ago they are still planning a superday in October, directly from HR's mouth

Really? I just heard on Thursday... they told me they were at capacity. Maybe they meant capacity as in they already have all the candidates they want to look at? I wasn't being considered previously, and I just reached out to my contact.

Also interested but it seems that GS and MS are done recruiting for FT. JPM did not post any openings inline which means they are employing the SAs for FT.

Hey fellow senior undergrad monkeys. I've updated the list but I would appreciate any info so I can fill in the blanks for firms I did not have experience with/superdays.

Please keep posting.

Fuck me. Its late October and it looks like I have nothing coming through. Now that BB and MM have already had their fall recruiting what does the landscape look like in the spring for one-off cycles? Are these spots almost impossible to come by?

Guess its time to start looking at no-name boutiques and non-IB positions for this guy.

Definitely keep trying with lower MM and less known boutiques, they have a much less structured recruiting process and don't follow a timeline as rigidly. Networking will be very important here.
