How Much Do ESG Analysts Get Paid (BlackRock, PJT Partners + Other Top Firms?)

How much do ESG Analysts get paid, and what does their career trajectory look like at the MD level?

I know BLK, PJT, and several other firms are hiring them. At a certain point, I am more interested in making a positive impact than collecting an extra $100k, so I'm curious about these kinds of roles.

Also listing other prominent firms that hire them would be helpful too

Bump -- Anybody have an idea? Interested in senior compensation too. I feel like nobody discusses this, but these jobs are going to become much more common.

I don't know the ranges exactly, but I'm 99.2% sure ESG analysts do not get paid the same as investment analysts. The pool of candidates is much larger and there's less competition for the skill set v. an equity analyst (detailed modeling/research).

That said, the lifestyle is great (other than proxy season) and the work is interesting and important. The ESG analysts I know love their work.

It's also a rapidly growing field, so that's also a big tailwind for a career choice.
