Best buy side equity research industry/sector?
Go with what I enjoy, go with what's best for career progression (HF / PM), or for a mix (optimal?).
But the honest truth is, I don't know what I enjoy because I've never tried anything, except tech (personal investing), which I do enjoy.
I was thinking an industry/sector that teaches me a lot about everything, if this is possible. I've heard tech does that because it exposes you to high beta, low beta, subscription models, etc.
I'm at the start of my career.

Healthcare / biotechnology. Tech gets so much hype anyways, seem much harder to time entry than the said industry.
Wouldn't that require specialist STEM knowledge? Agree re tech being overhyped.
