ask IB GENTLY for a small extension
if neither of those work, I'd probably just take the IB offer, but that's all determinant on your level of certainty on the hedge fund offer

And yeah, I emailed the HF right away telling them I am most interested in them.
But with the 2-day exploding offer being an aggressive move, is it more or less likely that the IB will give me an extension?

and not sure about the extension, it seems p group specific
my only experience w/ IB was getting summer internships which I didn't end up taking, the BB that I worked with wouldn't give me an extension, but didn't pull the offer just from me asking, so take that for what it's worth
